Two step top rail
Upgradable, easily removable firing chamber with shroud threading

pretty much a tippy with a custom body.... but what did we expect

ya honestly, with the current trends in military weapons going more towards spacy looking halo/space marine type weapons, i would have expected something a bit more self contained. even if it was just molded plastic to "fill in the blanks" so to say.

to me it just looks like a well modded tippmann. bummer.

Saw this posted on MCB yesterday too.

Too bad I'm not a fan of Q Loaders OR Tippmann guns. Got too much better stuff. :p

Also... I really love how the Q loader and the gun MATCH so well. Looks like they are MEANT to go together!

I'd rather eat glass than shoot that thing.

we dont hate qloaders, if anything we "hate" tippmann. iroman and i own qloaders, they are just kinda a bitch. maybe one day i will put together my nice side feed tac-one.

and ya puppet, i agree, it might be kinda cool, but i never liked front loading my q-pod's anyways, so i dunno.

That's why.

Just kidding... no real "hate" for Tippmann. I just have too much better stuff. (As I already said.) ;)

are you kidding me???

We've ALL owned them... now we own better markers.
automags minis, blazers, cockers, they are faster, more accurate, lighter, stronger, easier to use.

Q-loaders were already proven to shoot the fastest on DMs (yes this was PROVEN TWICE by two DIFFERENT testers)
in most cases they fed SLOWER than halos/vlocties on Mags and other markers, barely topping 13 bps. Yes I know speed isn't the whole selling point.
I had a Qloader.... I offed it for $50 less than I I got it for and it was used once.... which was how many times it took me to realize what a piece of CRAP it was.

I agree^^^. Q loader is poo and just not for me.

I own 3 Tippmanns. They're not for me either. In my opinion... an A5 or 98C is good to toss at an "inexperienced player." ;)

whatever....tippman's have proved to be reliable, POPULAR(that's important), and damn decent. I wouldn't buy one for asthetic and play style reasons, but hell, i've been hit by them and i know you've all been hit by them. that's why paintball's so cool....variety for different people.

tippies are reliable, that's one reason they are used on a lot of fields as rental markers. Another reason is price. But come on, in todays age when you can buy an electro with standard features like clamping feedneck, multiple firing modes, 20+pbs out of the box, low pressure opperation, and 5 pod effeciency for less than $400 why would you buy an X7?
the simple answer is player prefferance. A lot of people just don't know much about other markers or have misconceptions about them. They also probably want a "milsim" marker
I too have been hit by a tippman I think... and i've hit plenty of people with my old SL-68II - that's not the point - the Point is there are better markers out there... and that's why people that know that look down upon tippmanns. Another reason I'm not a huge tippmann fan is the whole trying to militarize the sport... they are in a partnership with the US army for christ's sake.... it's stupid - war isn't fun... paintball is, paintball is a sport, not a training ground. It's companies like Tippmann that make parents think twice about letting thier kids play our SAFE and wonderful SPORT.

different people like different guns... as killion said - our industry is full of comapnies willing to fullfil everyone's desires.

go to a scenario event and no matter what you own you're sure to have someone with a different marker giving you that "what a n00b"

My only real complaint about a Tippmann is that the are overly used, but its because they are so cheap and easyly modable.
My real cofusion is why couldnt they have been more inovative, you know like hook up with any of the other hundred gun makers and try there hand at somthing new?

Brewtt

Wait... gun makers "hook up?"

because SP owns everything and I don't think a company that's been around longer than smart parts should have to pay SP royalties on stupid electronics when they are doing just fine without them - tippmann doesn't need to change... they tried that already... it failed

and hey brewtt... what are the chances of you letting me buy that black lever from your olive mini's clamping feedneck since you don't need it? that's my last step to a completely ninja mini ;)

Puppet
