Smart parts is suing invert. Or empire i guess. Apparently smart parts had the gas through grip idea first. Im guessing theres a chance of Invert winding up like AKA as far as gun production... blech.

had the gas through grip? ON WHAT GUN?!
and NO - EPICs have gas through grips.. LONG before smartparts
They don't even need to make stuff anymore to sell! all they have to do is monopolize the patents and make money suing others!
I noticed the patent was filed april 07
... Inverts came out in 06.... awww too late SP!

SP isn't suing Invert... yet.
My guess is they are "patenting" this idea to prevent CHEAPER versions of the MINI being sold with flexible, not milled, airlines on the grip. ;)
Large thread on this subject on MCB. Read to your hearts content.

yea I read the whole page, there is a lot of focus on the "flexible hose" inside the grip.
just cause SP files a patent doesn't mean they sue... perhaps they'll have this on file for years before a marker is produced with these charactoristics
Good find though, this is really interesting stuff! I'm moving this to the "world news" section

If the change from XP to Vista is anything like the change from IE6 to IE7 then Microsoft are going to have to wait a long time for these corporations to make the switch
