If you don't know what cybernations is is haven't started a nation yet, go to http://www.cybernations.net and join up!
Alrighty, since ajnin and I have been causing havok on cybernations.net I've come to a point where I'm in a position to make and give LOTS of in game money.
We ought to start a fatal alliance that serves the same purpose as my nation currently does (lend financial and military aid as well as technology loans and trade services)
Tech raids would be a primary source of outside income and so we'll have to set up some rules if there is interest in joining up from soren and brewtt
it doesn't require a lot of time (30 minutes to however long you want to spend on it) and I already have a pretty good system of tactics set up for war time situations.

If you join up can offer $1million to the first to join, $.5million to the second, $250k the third and $125k 4th and so on down the line.
I can also offer 1000 soldiers, 500, 250 and so on
20, 10, 5, and 2.5 Levels of Technology

for all this I expect 25% of your tech raid and loot earnings to be paid bi weekly for the first 6 months (after that you're on your own)

because I am not an alliance that makes us vulnerable to attacks from rogue nations and I have more than enough financial power to back defensive wars against rogues and even alliance battles. (in fact I just sent one of the larger Alliances crawling home single handedly)

My ultimate goal is to have a 'rogue alliance' of mercenary nations with nuclear capability

kitty, I started a nation formed on non-pussy citizens named "kickyourassnation". look me up. let's be friends, and by that i mean let's kick the other nations in the balls with steel toed boots while holding hands.

it's not so much a war game as it is a sim-nation kinda game!
wars happen.. but not until your nations is old - in the the case of Ajnin someone just randomly attacks you for no reason cause they're an ass and then I give all his enemies like $500k to burn him to the ground ;)

BTW you guys all seem to have good resources!
here's what I recomend you try and find for trades:
Rubber, Lumber, Cattle, Gold, Lead, Oil, Iron, Sugar, Spices, Pigs, Marble, Aluminum
that's 6 trades - which means you should have at least two of those resources, if you don't - then I can recomend a new trade set for ya.
but this will give you
Construction, Fast Food, Asphat, Microchips and Radiation Cleanup as bonus resources - for a total of (and here's the kicker for good trades guys!)
+8% to total population
-10% cost of land
+$3 citizen income
-13% cost of Technology
-29% cost of Infrastructure
-23% cost of maintaining Infrastructure
-5% cost of maintaining Tanks
-25% cost of soldiers and an additional
-$6.50 for cost of soldiers
+ (8.5 + 3%) to total population happyness! (2$ income for every point of happyness!)

if you guys think you can make good use of your nations - those start up offers I posted will apply... but I don't want to invest millions into folks that will let their nations go to crap (as in not playing the game)

I'm going to post some rules idea/s tactics for the Alliance soon to vote on

Those offers I posted I figure would be good incentive to get people to game, but you really gotta work at your nation for about a month to get it solid Since you're the second to join that makes your Nation eligable for the $.5million start up bonus I offered... you've got 10 days to prove your Nations worth ;)

More tips:

Purchases:
BUY INFRASTRUCTURE!
this should be your main purchase expense. this gives your more people, meaning more money. Population increase over citizen income always! After a while, buy some land to shut them up. and some soldiers
Keep buying infra until you're making about 30k a day, then buy tech and infra (land comes from tech raids, don't worry about that so much) First improvement purchase should be a Harbor, this allows an extra trade slot

Trading, Resources
Trade within your team whenever possible. resource bonuses do NOT stack so don't double trade, EVER. use the search tools to find resources, try different combinations to get the best results. you can hover the mouse over the green check mark to see how many trade slots that nation has, only offer trades to nations that have less than 5 slots full. Check into the nations to be sure they don't already have connections to your resources, and that they have been active.
I just spent over $100k to pay a nation to trade with me, sometimes this is needed. I negotiated a 7 month contract with them.

Taxes/collections:
Set your tax rate at 16 or higher, and check each rate to be see which one gives the highest return, how much your citizens make depends on how happy they are. You can sit in collections and get interest returns, (up to 10K). your nations will be happiest on day 30, 90 180 and 365 - so save up tax collections before that date to get a lot. Be sure you give your people the religion they want. And choose Monarchy as your form of government, regardless of what they want (this gives you the best of environmental friendlynes and happyness)
