its the cheapest electro trigger you can make really fast. buy stock for 200 bucks, put 80 into a board and you have a 20,000 bps marker. now if they could only place a nice tight pattern it would be great.

They can... just add a PPS brass barrel. I've seen it. :)

ya, i guess so. what about the evil omen 2.0? that looks a little promising. i dont know about upgrades though. its also about $200.

-edit. lol, when my evil pipe kit works it places a nice tight pattern. hehehehheh...

on the spyder vs2. my friend has one of those, its a fast son of a bitch, but its quite a bit bigger than the ion and to my knowlage has limited upgrades and the bolt doesnt like to cycle very much. i would just go with a used intimidator or shocker.
if you really want speed i would save up a little more and get an intimidator or a shocker off ebay. Theres something funny about the ions air valves or something that prohibits really fast rof, so you need more than a board to get more than 17 bps.

Im no expert. This is just what i have been led to believe, so there is a good chance that i have been misslead.

HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAH

mags are capable of being one of the fastest guns on the market. as well as capable of having on of the lighest trigger pulls. i can get like 8-9 bps out of a very very stock mag. about 11 out of my 300 doller mag. puy about 200 bucks into either in emap lower or a pneu-trigger your capable of hitting around 26 a second if you can do it. the emag has all those nifty little featurs speedballers think they need. plus no batteries. and somewhere theres vids of like 30 bps out of a old pretty much stock automag rt classic.. mags rock

mags ARE very capable of being fast.
don't be fooled by people's BPS numbers from ions - they are usually CPS (cycles per second) the ball would litterally be falling out the end of the barrel. even after you put around 900 into an ion you'll be right about where a stock shocker is.

ya kitty, i know what you mean. when my ion was right out of the box after you hit about 9 pbs the consistancy just went to shit. i made some dwell adjustments, but as long as i have the stock reg and qev on there im still at about 12 bps with consistantish velocity. the ramp mode is just complete bullshit. dont even try it. yoll end up with 17 bps at 79 fps... which really isnt worth it. however, i have been told that a high pressure tank will elimate these problems.

Why are you going for BPS instead of accuracy and RELIABILTITY?!?!

Blazer for the win. ;)

you all have a very good point! i didn't think that a mag is as quick as your telling me. is a mini mag just as good.

a nelson valved pump is going to be even more accurate, with a comparable rate of fire ;) that undercocking kit really looked like it sped things up on firepros phantom.

Puppet

about high rates of fire, i do appreciate my magnetic trigger. the 12ish bps i can walk off with it has gotten me out of some pretty sticky situations. but yeah, it really does make more sence to be taking people out with 3 balls instead of 10... its just nice to know that i have "get the fuck out of my cool-aid" full auto mode for when i need to put down some serious fire power. i just have to be really carefull about (not) overshooting.

you ought to do a little research :D

most of us here have been playing paintball since you were born - we don't make fluff out of stuff like the kids on PBnation.

for one thing - I think you're at the wrong forum if you're looking to light people up on a speedball field.

why do you need a marker that can shoot faster than 13pbs anyway? (oh and that by the way is my 100% stock automag, mechanical, with no mods whatsoever. all balls in the 270-290fps range)

Kitty

One more thing.
if you want a fast gun - buy a pump and save up for a Planet Eclipse ETEK. There isn't a better marker on the market right now than that one. It has EVERYTHING - it is by far the BE ALL END ALL speedballers marker.
by the time you save up enough money to afford one, you will be so damn good with the pump you'll probably never realize the full potential of the ETEK.
word of advice - upgrade your game, not your gun.

Puppet

or instead of saving up for the ETEK, he could save for twice as much and buy the 07 EGO! lol...
