ok, i was up at old auburn or whatever yesterday shooting around with some friends. so i gass up my marker, shoot off a rope to intimidate my friends with old spyders, and set it under a tree. A few minutes later i pick it up, turn it on and it wont shoot. so i play around with the eye settings, power, ect, and then look at the pressure guage. its reading 280 psi (supposed to be at 190). so i take off the tank, and slowly un screw the reg. the air comes out and the pressure drops. i screw it back on, along with the tank. the pressure guage shoots up to 190, it shoots a few times, but when im not shooting, the arrow on the guage rapidly moves higher. so i took the tank off and played with an extra. some time during that game someone said they heard a tank dump all its air. i go over to my tank only to see that its empty and that the nipple is pushed in and will move in and out when i tilt the tank.

wtf is up with my stuff? does anyone know?

thanks-Rob

I think you're shooting HPA right?
if so - You may need to have the regulator on the tank serviced. Pressure creep usually happens when dirt gets into the regulator seats and screws off everything. Some time when it was filled, a small spec of dust or dirt could have got in there and worked its way into the piston/seat area.
Most tanks have a warrenty on them, check with the manufacturer of the air system to see what they can do for ya

ok, i took it in. the burst disk was out, and john said that the pressure creep had to do with the regulator, so ill be taking my gun in too...

shit. well the creep and stuff was because of the battery and electronic stuff... im getting so pissed off at the little computer inside my gun... i think i might just buy something mechanical thats reliable. And doesnt eat the nine volts...

you'll never have a problem with rechargables. Go to an electronics store and buy a set that contains a charger and the batteries. You can get them in either NiCD or NiMH - the MH ones will generally last longer as they come in higher mAh ratings, but the NiCD ones have more punch.

I too run a Ion infact I have two, both eat batterys like none other it would be wise to upgrade to rechargable.
Allso basic upgrades that will run you around three hundred or so are as follows
Verture Board 139.99
Vertue Eyes 35.00
360 Qev 25.00
L7 bolt if you can find it 60.00
membrain on off 13.00
and a cp mini reg for about 88.00
with all of these enhancements you will have a breakaway gun its up to you to make yourself a breakaway player.
there have also been great things said about the Senario Dreams Board and the out coming ape board both are cheaper but The Vertue has a life time replacment

My ion gets a regulator, trigger and maybe a drop forward. I think a new marker is in the near future though.
