One day event this time.

Just wanted to double check that everyone can make it.

No story line up yet, but I imagine that'll change next week as D is finishing up the story now. I'm kind of curious to see what sides we'll have to choose from, costume ideas and props :)
I'm thinking of taking a role in this one as an engineer or something similar

medics should really be used MUCH more for base overuns (sure you can't respawn, but you can MEDIC!)

there aren't many teams that I really give a crap about running with - I'd like to run with Marauders again for sure, and Lockdown as well - others we'll just have to see when we pick sides, i'm not into choosing sides based on what teams are already there.. too many teams do that and it's annoying

no SSN needed - dispite what you heard and what the reg forms tell you (they are outdated)
just register as normal ( you MUST pre-register, there are no walk ons at this event)
just have your ID, license, vehicle registration, and insurance ready to show at the gate. This is a real paintball field... blocks of abandoned residential housing with bunkers set up in the streets... sure to be a fun day.

season pass holders don't need to pre-pay
in fact we don't even need to pre-reg ('cept the military events of course)

I think they are working on a link for season pass holders to pre-buy paint

until then, we're registered

There is a box to check if you have a season pass... so I guess they still want us to reg on-line.

I put 2 cases for purchase at the event in the comments section also. Just doing what I did for the last one. I assume everything will rock out. :D

then again they have also said if it fills up they will open up more base to taw its hype dont worry i doubt they will fill. i am regged, no matter what, did you guys prepay for your paint? i cant tell if you have to to get that price. it kinda seems like you have to prebuy to get the discount for this one. i am somewhat upset with the amount of back and forth with the registration info on their forums.

TAW didn't say that, someone at Travis did... TAW did say there was a cap of 400 players. I do agree with the back and forths... DMS and the active duty personell at Travis AFB and TAW all saying different stuff

Check out the google maps hybrid satellite photo/map of Travis AFB. If I recall the picture of the field that Kitty had... it looks like the field is North-West corner of the base on Hamilton, Kelly and Armstrong St. I suspect parking will be that big parking area at the North end on Armstrong/Kelly... or possible just along Armstrong Rd.

I have a tentative OK from my brother about us 5 staying at his place in Davis or in his backyard on Fri night. It would be best if there aren't 5 staying Sat night... but it may be fine, fewer would be better. I definitely will be staying Sat night in Davis.

We will need to leave Davis at 4:30 to 5 in the morning Sat.

I made an updated map after looking at the sat photos... hopefully that will be our AO - it was last year. Anyway, looks like mostly pairs of smallish houses sharing a carport thingy, and a few longer ones. doesn't even look worth worrying about the ubran camos.. just gonna rock whatever

Directions... got confirmation on TAW from Damian on that issue.

Thanks BW for the generous loan.... the mag ROCKed the other team into oblivion - had no problems with it until night game... when we had to chrono down - but I expected it, as RT type mags have a tendancy to not like shooting below 280fps (night rules are 250)
