Honestly... if the little elvs want a war... they'll get one. Murauders is one team I enjoy playing against, it's just like playing with friends, you know they won't cheat and they are good enough to give us a challange.

Just talked to jeff tonight - he seamed excited about it... also said he's gonna try and make every TAFB game next year - w00t (although I will only be reffing at Travis games from now on)

btw - I though reg was free? I guess this is another one of TAW "costs keep going up" things we get to deal with... yay - 2009 season passes should be around $1000 with discounted paint at $300 a case

Reg is just a toy for season pass holders as far as I saw. No different from the other events... except for the toy. :)

Register early as a PAINDEER to be on our team. This is Santa's side. Those damn elves are rebelling... again. :rolleyes:

TEAMS/SIDES ARE NOT GUARANTEED as Shelly keeps reminding us. Register EARLY for best results. :)

that is what i kept reading. i will register now though. Is it worth it to get the better grade paint or is the lower grade stuff pretty decent. How much paint do you think i should need for the whole event. I havent been to on ein days

I only get the HIGHEST grade paint now. It's worth it to me to have good paint that usually BREAKS on the target.

How much paint to buy? All of it. :p

You are a better judge of how much you shoot than anyone. :rolleyes:

well i can shoot alot and i can shoot a little. i just figured an estimate. i ordered two cases of the good stuff and i got the case of the standard stuff that comes with the reg. so 3 cases should hopefully be more than enough. all signed up. hopefully i dont get switched. do they release a list of the teams before the game so you know if you got switched or do you just find out that day?

I dont like the fact that I might be paying for a game that I might not even be able to make but I want to play so bad my mind is running.

Shelly's been making a big deal about people talking smack before the games "sides are requested no guarenteed" She has to be sure the sides are even in both number and skill - a hard thing to do. And unfortunatly the MVT (peer award) doesn't matter much to D and shelly - there are a few teams with many more than 5 (stonecutterz, lockdown, snore assassins)

I haven't seen teams being moved that it was a big deal.. there ar 4-5 teams that actually request to be placed wear needed, so that helps keep everyone on the side they requested - ad unless you're a team of 15+ they really just put you where you ask.

NorCal FURY is getting a hotel room - camping in the cold sucks when you gotta wake upat 8 for a safety briefing, lol.


And last game they released a list of teams - I asked that she do it again, we'll see.

There is a hotel we've stayed at for that field before, less than 5 minutes from the field, clean, cozy - private doors. We'll be staying there again - I think it was the best value in, can't remember, will make the reservations this week for it and let you know ;)

reg is 20, air is 15, paint is 55 - all that comes to $90 - this way they make sure everyone pays for what they are supposed to pay for.

if you don't want the crappy paint - TAW will give you $55 credit towards the high-end stuff which is $10 more.

i have another friend who of course tells me this morning that he wants to go to the game, it shows on their site that they are not allowing walk ons, do you think if he came down they would allow him to play? i called and left a message but i will have to see if they even call back.

i clicked on the page for registration for the event and at the top it said no walk ons. i figured they just screwed up the code or something. click on the reindeer games registration and it says that at the top. but if you open the itinerary it has prices. just wanted to double check.

Ajnin - that was some good times. Too bad we didn't roll together more, going through those trees from 1 to 3 was freaking hilarious... we just owned everything.

Brewtt, Thanks BIG time for letting me use that mini while mine was down - I got checked about 15 times by 4 different refs for ramping, I emptied a hopper in less than 5 seconds - I got 9 pods and a hopper of a 68/45 from that thing in the blender (with a 3800 psi fill!)

I dunno who I'm forgetting.. but they did good too I'm sure! :D

Also - thanks to my team - you guys gave me the confidence to get up there and do stupid stuff every time, I got so many compliments on you guys, great work out there! 22 surrenders and 3 barrel tags... couldn't have done it without my team mates TCB out there!

my brothers aka Fatal - holy shit. once again we truly devastated on the field. we turned the tides of battles so many times its uncountable. you guys all make me smile. you all are truly hardcore mofos.

kitty - good stuff indeed. we totally owned them bushes and were way out numbered. that moment was awesome, had that mission card and you guys looked bored. instead of going with the large assault force you and killion helped at 3. rad. we rocked.

peter - your a little badass. when i handed you my sword i expected you to atleast get the kill i required for its use, but coming back with as many as you did was rad. you roll like you should be wearing our uniform. ;)

Yes! uncountable times this game the front line was pushed by 1 or 2 fatals at most!

Ajnin! I couldnt get up that hill at the enemy cp until you and only you showed up!

Puppet! it was like our first time really rolling as a pair. It was devastating for the moments it lasted.

Nate! frick man! I never have to worry about crap when your with me! we need to get surgically attached!

Kain! so many times up on 4 you took out my flank for me! it was like in the movies! I would look to my right and see the enemy about to take me out then his mask splatted with paint. i look back and there you are!
