Haven t played a bit scence <Er 2am bad spelling alert> Rely wanted to genral this one bad and kinda wanted to use you fellas... and lady's for my command staff as well as my boys, Kinda wanted to duel general this with ajnin with the Idea that if we split the strategy up that we will win in both force and points by the end of the first day.
It was something that I was planing on calling him to talk about but then I fucked my knee hard I am just know starting to get around to doing anything...

In fact I was wondering if you fellas where Playing this Sunday I was gonna come on out with some of the team and toss some paint down the field.

so the poster on taw thread said premium event paint was $55 a case, but the season pass thread said that premium paint was $65 before the pass. i looked at a few other posters and they said $55 as well... is it $55 or $65 without a season pass?

65$ if you buy at the event. it's 55$ if you pre-pay for your paint. Season pass holders get paint for $50 a case regardless of when they buy.

saving 10$ a case is a really good reason to pre-buy and pre-reg

Hey there Fatal,

Thanks for jumping on board the clean-up and field work effort planned before Metal Storm. My team and I (Armed and Special) will be there probably mid-morning on Thursday, the 9th to set up camp and get started. That will be about 1/2 day of work.

Anyway we are going to stick to our goal of restoring the CP buildings, and I heard you were going to bust out the weedeaters. What's your plan?

I'm going to bring one gas weedeater.. I think others on our team have some as well - the CP buildings should be a concern as well - the safety (especially at CP2) of those inside right now is not up to par with my standards.

I think before plans are set in concrete we need to get approval from both the campground manager (for camping) and Combat Zone to do the work.. I'm sure Combat zone will be glad to hear it.
I'll give them a call again this week with the date of the 9th

Our general for the last scenario was WAY below par in my opinion.

For instance... the last scenario. I never, read: NEVER got a mission card or even got to step INSIDE our own Command Post to crack my mask and take some water. :mad: She wouldn't even open the f'ing door every time I tried. It sucked beyond belief. She f'ing sucked. She was paranoid and pathetic. I was pissed.

correction, killing a gen is not 100 points. UNLESS you have a mission to kill them.
had her security forces been in place and paying attention at the first part of the day, she wouldn't have had to shut the CP down for the second half of the game. I agree, she had little experience... I think Generals need GUTS, not just tactics. It's not their job to WIN, it's thier job to make sure thier players have FUN!!!! no one gets trophies at these events... FUN is the key element, seriously. (unless you're mission mongers like us! lol)

Frosher will be on hand at the event to hand out FREE ice cold bottled water to EVERYONE at the event. Damian has given us a nice spot right next the air station and field entry point/chrono - There will be and easy up and a few benches. We ordered 20 cases of water, hoping that will be enough... we may end up going to foodmax later to get more. She may need some help setting up Saturday.

Friday afternoon to help set up where needed, make camp, and hang out with our favorite teams, then enjoy the free BBQ.
I guess there are going to be some people there fixing up the field although I was told by the owner that it'd be OK. I would like to get a hold of Kevin to see if they need help setting up their stuff

alrighty - it's super easy to get there, but if you do, be sure to meet at ajnin's house first, we like to caravan up so we all arrive and there's less confusion with making camp and getting regged.
I'm super stoked also - Fatal now has 6 solid members plus two new ones, AND your brother is going, and the two ACU guys. mostly i'm excited for you guys that get to experience your first big scenario - just brings back memories from Reindeer games and how from the first minute we got in the field and saw the complete chaos and our friends getting killed left and right... we had no clue - took us a good hour or two to get into it where we started to destroy everything and everyone in our path

these are big games. Long, 3 day events. Bring EVERYTHING you need to ball. This includes:

mask w/ day and night lenses (thermal or anti fog)
markers
back-up markers
*IN HYDRO* tanks
remotes
hoppers and pods
extra batteries
tools, tapes, lubes
parts kits for markers (unless you have a tippmann or spyder, then they are readily available at the booths)
general parts kits (o-rings and such)

paintballing clothes (fatal uniforms if you're a team member)
extra socks, shoes, shirts

tent, sleeping bag, pillow

flashlights (there are night games and night walking)

beer, food, high energy snacks, water, beer

they are also battery hogs. and tend to get strange air leaks on random air hoses. it would be smart to get a hose kit, ball detents and what ever other maintenance Items you can think of.
also I would change your battery's on Sunday at the scenario before you play

Everyone is to meet at Ajnin's house at 10am for marker tech, pre-chrono, and loading the bus. If you have to work or won't be there then, let us know, the bus and one other vehicle is going and we don't want to leave anyone behind! killion let me know when you get off work so we can pick you up or whatever. our goal is to arrive at CZ around 3:30/4:ish so we have time to register, walk the field and head to surplus city for some browsing before setting up camp. free BBQ friday night, then movies and team meeting after that. Then it's get some rest in for the 14 hours of game play on Saturday!

So first I have to say thanks.
You guys where a steady rock your encouraging words helped me allot threw the weekend as well as your steady guns.
Second is that I rely suck.. the role play thing was completely disorganized and lame, I went out there thinking that tactics and strategy would win the weekend when in reality logistics and role play played way to big of a roll.
thats my fault no excuse on that.
my las comment is the fact that the fatal forty has something terrorabley wrong with it, as it had a bad lean to the left the whole way home this could have been due to poor packing or a bad air bag eather way it should be looked at.the wheel well was about six inches from the ground.

all in all I had fun and tactically speeching we kicked there ass, just next time I am making like 400 props and havening about three hundred role play missions already made up.
Also any help you need for urban disturbances I am all over it....

hey Kain - I first want to say that I enjoyed your generaling more than every general I've had yet (well.. you can't beat santa! LOL). Roleplay is a hard one, and I'm confident that had the other team not cheated so much, the numbers would have been much closer than they were.
I know we all ran as hard and as much as we could, being sick, tired, pissed off or whatever - hot games SUCK COCK!
also I agree that the '40 has something wrong with it... but hey, I hate it anyway :dodgy:

Kain you went up against a team that has been doing this for a damn long time. They know every little way to get as many point as they can. Now you know and next time, you'll bring em hell.

I did have a great time, you alloud us to do what we do best, run the hell out of missions and kill people when and where needed, and best of all, you listend to pretty much everyone, you didnt try to push them away, or tell them they where wrong. That was awesome. Thanks man.

have to say thanks to the stonechippers for donating so much paint to the yellow team, mighty charitable of them, I felt so touched I made sure to give them twice as much as I gave every other player, some of them even looked like they deserved more ;)
