Hello Everyone,
After hundreds of hours designing, testing, modifying and re-testing, the new Widowmaker Paintball Productions website is finally here! But, it is far from finished. In fact, it is designed to be an ever evolving project and it needs everyone’s help to make it happen.
This new site is actually a database driven Content Management System (CMS) and is capable of doing whatever we need it to. The content is primarily Article based so that means we need to have articles to grow our archives. These articles can be submitted by anyone via email (or email attachment) to be included in the CMS database.
Our new forum also does not have any topics or headings yet. That is because, I would like to hear from all of you on this subject. The same goes for questions and answers to be added to our FAQ collections. This project is a true joint/team effort and that means you and all of those players/potential players out there.
I am asking all of you for some input on this and also to get the word out to the other players you know and have them submit their comments or ideas. I can’t guarantee that everything will make it to the headlines or front page but I can guarantee that it will all be looked at and reviewed. The biggest thing to remember is that this site is for the purpose of getting the word out about us and the events, sharing information with each other, promoting our sport and working together for the future. It is not for the purpose of others to hijack our forums or article archives and trash talking or bad mouthing others will not be tolerated. There is enough of that everywhere else already and we don’t need that anymore. Some of us have lived through it and know what it can do.
Please, get as many people as you can in on this but in order to be successful and continue to thrive, we need to be able to rely on actual results versus promises of support that we have experienced in the past.
I am looking forward to hearing back from you as soon as possible so please respond promptly.
