Seeing as I am a member of a "secret society" I would warn you about the word "hazing". My orginization has gotten in trouble for "hazing" our newcomers. That having ben said, if you need any ideas talk to me.

Reg forms are up
per Damian - we can register as we have been doing for the last few games - Let's reg soon so we can guarentee our ninja spots!
This one we'll camp for - so I'll check yes for camping space - someone else should too.. just so they know how much - they've never run out of room so it shouldn't be a big issue but just in case

just completed my registration guys

Questions:

Are you definitely going?

You mind taking orders?

Staying Fri. night and Sat and all Sunday?

Can you leave early afternoon that Sat?

YES

You mind taking orders?
I take orders well, and can give them too.

Staying Fri. night and Sat and all Sunday?
Sounds like fun!

Can you leave early afternoon that Sat?
Why would I leave, please explain.

Brewtt
04-18-2007, 07:18 PM
My typo... my apologies. I meant that Fri. Begging your pardon. :o

Leave here... as in leave town(Grass Valley) for Oroville in the afternoon with us on the Friday the 18th of May to get there for the Fri. night BBQ. :)

Kitty

I have 2 free passes left, the rest of the team has a total of 12 - so there is definately no problem there.
and yes, putting fatal as your team would garentee you're on the same side as we are.. sometimes teams get placed on sides they didn't request in interest of balance.
the best way would be for one of us to register for ya -
as team secretary I have all the paper work for waivers and what not - I could take care of it for ya, James has the contact information to make it happen fast as well.
we'll take care of you for sure no worries
Looking forward to running with ya at the event! :D

OK great, so your going to register for me? Pretty much all my info is under the introduce yourself thread. I can leave anytime on friday for the event just lemme know when and where to meet up.

Kitty
04-19-2007, 01:59 PM
as we get closer to the event dates, this thread will be updated with times and such.
we'll be camping - so remember to bring your camping gear.
as far as I can tell at least 2 vehicles will be making the trip, a truck and miniature micro machine... so keep that in mind when packing

Everyone should think about this.

When I put my essential camping gear in the truck there will be LESS space than usual. I pack for camping comfort. We will NEED more than two vehicles. I can't take everyone's gear. Another Fatal member is going to have to step up and vehicle it.

ajnin

you know what i have to work with. [ ] <-- that much space. there may be a bus in the works, and cheap too. but thats not the current problem. i will of course be traveling alot lighter since i wont have to bring any loner crap just my gun box and some soft gear plus camping stuff. i have two larger tents for us now. and whatever other crap i had last time we camped.

brewtt whats your camping stuff consit of? my tents are large canvas things that can fit like 4 people each . i think i cave a latern and camp stove and some sleeping bags.

we need some sort of above ground camp fire dish bwol holder thing.

Brewtt
04-19-2007, 09:38 PM
I have a huge tent I'm bringing for myself and my crap to live in. I have two smaller easy-to-erect tents for loaners, lanterns, tables, chairs, canopies, coolers, cooking stuff, sleeping stuff, BBQ for cooking and fire pit, 5 gal. water bottle, etc. I may be able to borrow my dad's generator too. :)

ajnin
04-20-2007, 02:44 AM
ok so thats about 1/2 to 2/3 full of the back of your truck. my camping stuff mius bags would prolly fill the rest, which provides shelter for everyone. my gear plus anothers can fit in my trunk. i dunno why we would need a generator, if need i can bring plug in lighter conveter thingy. its alot smaller. and remmeber. the first time we went to oroville, we camped. i dont think we spent really any time in camp. in fact it was the most un-organized, un-kept camp i have ever been in simply for lack of time. :) but thats not really a bad thing.

Kitty
04-20-2007, 02:53 AM
yea I don't think anyone's expecting you to cart our gear just because you have a truck. but you are the only person with a truck - perhaps when we meet of friday the things that won't fit in cars can go in the truck, and leslie and I can take what we can fit.
I'm bringing my usual bag-0-stuff plus clothing, leslie has her two bags, chairs, tent, sleeping bags - that's all we can fit in our car - with no room for a passenger

Soren
04-20-2007, 10:54 AM
i have a couple options to help with this, first if i can get my parents van. its huge and will be able to take everything you could think of, but gets bad gas mileage and only one passenger. second is me taking my girls rodeo instead of my little car, its like a 4runner or pathfinder size. Im thinking the van would be great, plus i could just sleep in it no tent for me.

Kitty
04-20-2007, 05:59 PM
sounds great
see what you can do... if we load gear - maybe we can shoulder some of the cost for gas :D

Kitty
04-20-2007, 09:38 PM
SOREN,

go ahead and reg yourself for the ninja game
just put in the comments section that "Dustin "KITTY" Hanson" will be taking you on as a new member and using one of his free passes (season pass holder) also state that you'd like to get (how ever many) cases of paint at the pre-buy price... not sure how they're going to fix this later. oh well

Frosher
04-21-2007, 09:54 AM
Well, I'll be cooking food - breakfast/dinner - any requests? :P

ajnin
04-21-2007, 03:10 PM
heh... no eggs for me... meat is good.

Kitty
04-21-2007, 04:01 PM
haha.... I think bacon/toast and some good meats for dinner break
and of course, lots of drink!

Brewtt
04-21-2007, 04:11 PM
I don't eat breakfast. I'll probably try to force down a pwer bar of some sort for energy sake.

I prefer hamburgers for lunch/dinner if there's going to be cooking.

If not sandwhich stuff is good.

Beer requires no cooking. :D

I'll think about this more...

Soren
04-23-2007, 01:07 PM
ok i reg'd, i didnt sign up for camping cause you guys got spaces already right?

i got 2 cases and air....

whats up with transport? want the big van? i need to make sure its available so please tell me so i can arrange it.

ill will be bringing some camping gear , tents, tarps, cooler, canopy, etc. I have extras of pretty much everything lemme know if you need something.

i like all food and eat breakfast, lunch, dinner. what should i bring other then beer and snanks? someone got water covered?

Soren
04-23-2007, 01:15 PM
any ninja swords left? or where do i get one like yours?

Kitty
04-23-2007, 04:29 PM
we've got water coverd... we can get it at a killer price :D
also.. not sure when the bus is going to be here, but that might be an option... ajnin or cowboy will have to come back on that.
as far as I know, there are no swords left... roman broke mine even!
Brewtt... any idea on this?

ajnin
04-23-2007, 07:54 PM
dont buy any more plasti cyet i am waiting for a reply from those other shorter wood ones since we can use them

Brewtt
04-24-2007, 08:07 AM
James is checking on wood swords.

The broken plastic ones should be repaired... don't throw them out!

I have extras too.

I DO have a pair of LARGE MARPATS you may be able to borrow. :)

Ok so I talked with my mom and,

she is down to help us out, two different ways to go.

1, tomorrow we (james and I, plus who ever else wants to come ) help cut, then put together the next night (wed)

2, same start but we pay $10 hour to have them put together by the pro. should work out to less then an hour for a set, but could work out somewhere under $20 total per set.

Im more down with #2 cause im lazy and want them to come out good.

We can also use black to make whatever else we want. :D

ajnin
04-30-2007, 05:20 PM
awesome... really awesome...

what measurments are needed?

Soren
04-30-2007, 05:23 PM
i was thinking we could get away with making two different sizes? medium and large will do i think, or measure and make custom...

Soren
05-01-2007, 12:28 PM
what time do you want to meet up tonight?

everyone post their sizes please...

also, the figures are based on making both tops and bottoms.. if we just wear normal marpart pants and just make the tops then it will be even cheaper! woo.

Hey there fatal, fellow ninja here. I'm not with a team this time, none of my usual hired guns could make it to this one. Finals in school are messing with people's paintball careers. Priorities...

But I will (hopefully) be roleplaying. Anyone remember the medic from St. Val's with the baseball bat? I'll be trading in my bat for a sword this time. Anyway I would like to at least coordinate with you guys in command. I'll be glad to play medic this time around, as well. And if you need some command assistance, whether you need an XO or a garbage man, let me know.

Welcome to the forums!
Fatal has kind of a personal vandetta for this game - Being die hard ninja and all! You were at SVDM so you likely remember our team well :) We're 3 in a row MVT winners, and we aim to keep doing our best - running hard, fast and long completing mission after mission. So if you've got what it takes (and I'm sure you do after seeing a bit of you in action at SVDM) then we'll definately have to get together before the game!

Frosher and I should be arriving rather early (2pm or abouts) Probably the rest of the team as well, not so sure on the transportation situation there... Either way, We make it a point to walk around and talk to everyone we can and help were we can, you'll see us around! (if you don't remember any of us, here's a little refresher http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y164/neonblackkitty/Fatal_mobold.jpg

Hey... I remember seeing a dude running around with just a bat. Rock on!

Appears the ninjas side really needs some role players to step up. The Pirates already have a bunch signed up. :(

I have class until 2:45 (I'm in school but I can drive and I have a job), I should be able to get out of here at 3:30 or so and be there by 5:00. I'll have my truck loaded up the night before. My routine will be the same: set up camp, then walk the field.

Oh yeah, I remember Fatal Paint from SVDM alright. Lol, who has the black PPS Blazer? Whoever that was, the two of us terrorized the "truck hills" for about 20 minutes. I was the medic who kept healing Blazer-man every time he got shot. That's a badass marker.

EDIT: I guess that was you, Brewtt... should've read the "team" page to find that Blazer.

Brewtt
05-09-2007, 09:29 AM

Cool, I'm now the official House Scribe. So general and command, what do you need done? I'm willing to play medic again, if you need one. I'll come meet up with you Friday night, what should I look for?
Look for the silver GMC Sonoma and a Tool shirt, thats me.
