I posted this on PBN and MCB, and now here too............

I have a v1 mini, and just got a killer deal on a 7th Element Board for it. While installing it, found out that board has different threads than stock, as in, I cant use the stock screw to hold the board in place. Its the same size just finer threads. I have the pro players part kit (aka the big one) and all the screws I have are the same as the one that came out of the gun. This isnt a major problem but I am a perfectionist and like to think that i take good care of my stuff. Ive looked everywhere locally to find one to no avail. Everybody in the paintball world I talked to, first looked at me like I was crazy, then said go to forums. So any ideas or experiences before I call 7th Element??

I would have started with 7th Element. Thats what customer support is for. The forums and the internet for problems like those should be second ;) If you pay for a product your paying for their Customer Support as well... use that shit.

All else fails... just force it like snott would do.

If you got your board from JF (which I hope you did, shopping local ;)) then you probably got one of the FURY boards that didn't come with screws... they also have specal programming for our team minis

See me at the Nor Cal Big Game on Sat, or at Davis on any given Sunday and I can hook you up with a new screw if you haven't already found one.
if you call 7thE I'm sure they will be happy to send you a screw at no charge, they are really cool people
