I'm calling for a Fatal Paint BAN on that "Monster Ball" Walmart/Kmart crap that people are calling "bouncy balls" at the Airport.

Buy decent paint if you want to play with us on Fatal Sundays. No more of that garbage.

I'm not a HUGE fan of Mike at TechPB but he has a GREAT point here:

Un-frikkin believable how indestructible those "paintballs" are.

That stuff is garbage and I wouldn't EVER shoot it at anyone. I won't let it be shot at me either. (Unless it's CHECKED out and seems fresh and playable).

I'd like your opinion on this idea and the vid.

But it comes in such a cool little carry plastic tote thingy..

I agree, I have felt the wrath of that crap... I bleed and bruised yellow. There's no reason to even check it. There's no reason to buy it.

Support your local paintball shops.

Get the sport out of walmart/kmart/target/big-r/your backyard.

I agree in full. Most fields as it is dont allow Wall-mart/K-Mart paint anyways because of how harsh they are on bunkers, let alone noggins, fingers and other things that they SHOULD be breaking on.

In my opinion, bring your own paint is what it says. I didn't have any of these "issues" you guys are talking about.

I hate pink paint, but I don't really care what people shoot. They should how ever support our local paintball store and buy paint from them when they are open.

It's not that WE had issues. It's the idea in general that ass paint is garbage and it shouldn't be bought/used/supported.

You did watch the posted vid right? Hard to argue with someone jumping up and down on a bag of paint. That's just plain unsafe crap in general. :p

There is a reason that nearly 100% of paintball fields in America have BANNED MonsterBall or SIMILAR paint at. It can literally tear a rental tippmann apart. I've seen it punch holes in bunkers (yes, seen it with my own two eyes in real time)

Good choice banning them at the Airport guys... PLAY SAFE OUT THERE!!!

Well. I don't really think it has anything to do with the paint itself, rather the way that large corporate outlets transport and store the paint. I have used monsterball twice, not to say its great paint or anything but it had non of these characteristics. It wasn't hard, it flew strait, it broke. So I had to think about why would I have no problems, yet many other people had. So I got to thinking about how paint made the same way as other paint out of the same or similar ingredients have so many problem? ahh! it gets cooked in the back of semi trucks traveling across the country (world?). LOL! Guess I got lucky with a nice fresh uncooked batch. =D

Damn you (x)mart!

We did get a good batch from K-mart or somehting a couple months back when we ran out or something. I think that was a once in long while kin dof thing though. I thought that batch was defainatly comparable to karnage.

If that ever happens again you guys can call me. I will usually be up for running into the shop to get you some paint. Dont get me wrong. It would be good to get in there when we are actually open but if it comes down to it just give me a call. I know someone has my number, if not I will get it to one of you. And just try not to call extremely early on Sunday, I do enjoy my sleep some. :)

Well we have to keep the customers happy :D I know it doesnt happen often so its not really a big deal to me. Unless it becomes a weekly occurrance...then there may be a problem. But just let me know.
